From a cabinet of curiosities to a cabinet of necessities
from desire to need
We are know beginning a project on a wall. The wall is made of apilated stones and it separates one exterior space from one interior.
There is a house.
And there is a garden.
Between the house and a garden there is a wall.
Edifici parat per la crisi immobiliaria de 2008. Reparar, substituir, actualitzar
At first, there was a stable.
Later, it was split in two:
one half became a little house,
the other, a little warehouse.
In time, the house was torn down.
And now, the warehouse grows,
extended by a new shed.

In a second residence, the true permanent inhabitants are not the users but the objects that remain within. These spaces often turn into repositories for everything that has no place in the primary dwelling. A second home is a seasonal warehouse.
Havia de ser un habitatge.
Ha estat un magatzem apícola.
Ha estat un magatzem de garrofes.
Ara farem dos forats a la coberta
letting air and light enter a warehouse
Halfway between warehouse and home, the warehome highlights the shortcomings of contemporary dwellings in their relationship with objects and reclaims the storage virtues of warehouses.
While talking to a couple of friends about their project, a question arised: are relocations a kind of domestic logistics?
About the thingness: when a building is broken it becomes a thing.
Abandoned storage spaces often generates a ghostly presence in the town. They exist but are rarely perceived.
The proposal consists of wrapping the metal structure of a former gas tank to make it visually disappear. This paradoxical gesture —to conceal in order to reveal— invites a renewed gaze upon a forgotten element of the urban landscape. The wrapping creates a ghostly presence that, despite its apparent absence, demands attention, questions the memory of the place, and activates new ways of perceiving space.

Managing 8,000 m² without building anything.
xxx is a project that responds to a specific logistical need: accommodating an extraordinary order of 1,000 pallets in a shower-screen warehouse. The reason: the production halt caused by the Chinese New Year.
How to reorganize four rented industrial warehouses, all different from one another, without interrupting daily operations and without carrying out permanent works?
The solution was as simple as it was precise: a system of yellow fluorescent lines sprayed on the floor, which orders and redistributes the space using a single material. The pallets themselves—the very origin of the demand—also became auxiliary tools for construction as they were used as a xxx
In this way, the project positions itself between Land Art and logistical planning, showing how an economy of means can be transformed into a spatial strategy capable of making the invisible visible: order.

On Storage is an anthology on the act of storing. A research on the needs and desires underneath one of the oldest impulse of every human being eversince the agricultural revolution.
Nothing is original.
Due to the economic recession of 2007, around 224 art galleries closed in Spain. Most of them shut down their physical spaces but continued operating through their websites. However, a growing number of galleries have since disappeared entirely—both physically and virtually. Yet, any search on the web suggests otherwise, as all the data accumulated over the years about their artists, exhibitions, and press releases remains online, giving the illusion that they are still active.
Unlike what happens in a city—where the impact of economic change is visible through vacant storefronts and closed businesses—the digital realm operates differently. For search engines, these galleries remain alive; the more they are searched, the more present they appear. These virtual spaces seem to be trapped in a state of perpetual existence.
This project aims to make those closed galleries visible again by using the same mechanisms that keep them virtually alive: adding new data to the web so that search engines can rediscover those spaces—empty, after all.
